Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua, who also serves as the Senate Deputy Minority Leader, has rejected claims that Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka secretly met President William Ruto at State House. Speaking in Nairobi on Thursday, Wambua described the reports as an attempt to create divisions inside the opposition.
The rumours, which spread widely on social media, suggested Kalonzo had gone to State House to negotiate a possible political arrangement with Ruto ahead of the 2027 General Election. Wambua pushed back hard, insisting the story simply did not add up.
